What do you and Otis love about the park?
Seeing all our friends (humans and pups) at the park! We both love the community that has come together to support each other and to have some fun.
What are you most excited to work on as part of the Board?
I'm excited for the park to finally get the attention that it deserves after all the efforts from our predecessors from Hill Hounds and other neighbors. I hope that we not only restore the park to its original shape but also improve on major issues that prevent it from being the safe and reliable place we all need.
What’s your favorite non-dog park DC activity?
Dog friendly coffee shops with treats: Wine & Butter and Jacob's!
What’s Otis’ favorite treat?
Dried Salmon!
If Otis had a slogan, what would it be?
“I’m a big dog trapped in a little dog’s body”
Morgan Haines - Pawrent to Dakota
Board Secretary
What do you and Dakota love about the park?
Meeting new dog lovers and their dogs but I also have to mention all of the smells on Dakotas behalf
What are you most excited to work on as part of the Board?
To make the park into more of a community by keeping it clean, safe, and redesigned so its a place for dogs and people to get together and enjoy themselves!
What’s your favorite non-dog park DC activity?
Long walks through Eastern Market, stopping by our favorite DMV vendors!
What’s Dakota’s favorite treat?
Dakota would say pizza crusts on the sidewalk; there isn’t a snack she won’t devour.
If Dakota had a slogan, what would it be?
I’m not stubborn, my way is just better

What do you and Dary love about the park?
The sense of community and friendships that I have developed!
What are you most excited to work on as part of the Board?
Growing our community engagement so that every person and dog feels welcome.
What’s your favorite non-dog park DC activity?
Wayne and I loved walking around Kingman Island at least once a week. It is great walking on a trail so close to home. At the moment Dary loves sleeping and growing.
What’s Dary’s favorite treat?
Bully sticks!
If Wayne/Dary had a slogan, what would it be?
Wayne: Toughest dog at Kingsman

Nick Kahl - Pawrent to Cleo

What do you and Cleo love about the park?
The other people and dogs!
What are you most excited to work on as part of the Board?
Help maintain & improve the facilities!
What’s your favorite non-dog park DC activity?
Hiking with friends in Rock Creek Park
What’s Cleo’s favorite treat?
The real question is what isn't! Chicken most of all.
If Cleo had a slogan, what would it be?
Play hard, nap harder.
Katie Wynne - Pawrent to Leeloo

What do you and Leelo love about the park?
We love seeing all of our friends and playing fetch!
What are you most excited to work on as part of the Board?
I’m excited to build community within and around the park, and to make dog owner education more accessible. Leeloo brings me and my partner so much joy, and as new dog owners we had a lot to learn. I hope we can make the dog park a place for everyone to meet new people (and dogs!) and learn from one another.
What’s your favorite non-dog park DC activity?
Hiking through Rock Creek Park!
What’s Leelo’s favorite treat?
Balls! Just kidding - she really loves paneer cheese. #CheeseTax
If Leelo had a slogan, what would it be?
BALLS!
